We are excited to announce our involvement in the construction of Boeing’s 787 Assembly Facility! Boeing’s arrival in North Charleston is good for the community and, being a 50 year old local company, Hightower is proud to be involved.
Currently, we are working on the Central Utility Building (CUB) General Trades. This building is adjacent to the existing Boeing plant and will house the mechanical equipment for the plant and the new Final Assembly Building (FAB).
We are eager to continue the good work.

Phase I of the downtown Charleston City Market is complete. This project was accelerated into 4 months and through hard work and team mentality, we were on time and on budget. We feel privileged for the opportunity to revitalize a historic landmark that gives back to our community.
Phase I was a complete revitalization of the 3 open air sheds closest to East Bay St. Completed work included repointing of all masonry, structural & aesthetic wood repairs, tile roof repair, addition of shops, vendor counters & bathrooms, repainting of all surfaces, and new electrical & mechanical systems.
We would like to thank Glenn Keyes Architects and the City Market Preservation Trust, LLC.

Hightower Construction is proud to announce the completion of St. John the Baptist. This project consisted of two phases: complete exterior brownstone restoration and the construction of a new steeple. The project was a success. Hightower would like to thank Glenn Keyes Architects, the Catholic Diocese of South Carolina, Lepore & Sons Masonry and Copper Exclusive. Through our team mentality and can-do attitude, we came together to produce a historical element of Charleston.
Hightower is especially proud of this accomplishment because the new steeple was built in-house at our production facility outside of Charleston. Excluding the copper cladding and steel frame fabrication, all construction and assembly was completed by our own Hightower crew.
